Since 2004, Karina has dedicated herself to yoga and committed to deepening both her personal practice as well as deepening her studies, research, and training.
In addition to earning her 200-hour Foundation Yoga Teacher Training, Karina has pursued several avenues of continuing studies. She has earned her Yin, Yoga Nidra, Vinyasa Flow, and Taiwan Daxin Yoga Comprehensive Rehabilitation Training Certifications. In 2016, she followed her professional mentors to India to develop her skills. Karina is now a certified E-RYT 200 and YACEP yoga teacher, and has completed more than 1,500 hours of teaching.
Karina believes that yoga is about self-exploration, listening to your body and finding one’s balance and self-connection. As the owner of the studio as well as the Canzone Yoga School, her mission is to share the benefits of the practice with others so that more people may experience the positive impact of yoga on their lives.

Kelly Ozem is a STOTT Pilates Certified Instructor in Essential and Intermediate Matwork. Born and raised in Regina, Kelly was introduced to Pilates more than twelve years ago. His passion for the discipline led him to pursue receiving his certification in 2008. As a part time resident in California, Kelly receives regular exposure to a wide variety of learning experiences with different Stott Instructor Trainers, which enables him to share enhanced teaching techniques with his class participants. Kelly does not just practice Pilates, he lives the discipline.
Chris is the father of two beautiful children and husband to his gorgeous partner Kristal. As a family, they have run the Queen City SUP since 2014, where Chris has taught many hours as a SUP instructor.
Chris earned his 200 hour yoga teaching certification in 2018 with Sarah and Colin and the Bodhi Tree Teacher College and has been excited for his teaching journey. Besides yoga and SUP, he has also taught many hours as an NCCP Basketball Coach. His approach to teaching yoga is built around both his experiences as a teacher, as well as his understanding and studies in the practice, and he hopes to support his students in their own path of personal growth.
When he’s not teaching, Chris and his family enjoy hanging out on the beach and leading generally simple, happy lives.
Erika first practiced yoga in 2014, and was instantly hooked. She began a regular practice right away and completed the Oranj Fitness 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in Fort McMurray in 2017. With training in Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative Yoga, she enjoys helping people find the right practice for them!
Erika believes in creating a space for yoga that is lighthearted and accessible for anyone striving to improve their quality of life.
Early in her teaching career, Lena immigrated from Beijing, China to pursue her graduate studies in education. In 1999, she earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina.
Yoga, Meditation, and Tai Chi deepened her understanding of education through a personal journey of healing, embracing and transformation. With twelve years of combined teaching and learning in these three domains, Lena is passionate to offer her students mindful approaches to achieve internal and external Yin-Yang balance.
A certified strength instructor, Tessa currently leads classes at the YMCA in Regina as well as Canzone Yoga. She enjoys pretty much anything active and outside: running, mountain biking, skiing, swimming, kiteboarding, the odd triathlon, beach volleyball - and anything else that seems fun and challenging. After having her first child, she spent considerable time learning about appropriate exercises for best recovery during and after pregnancy as well as recovery postpartum. She is excited to share this new focus and connect with other moms in Regina through her class offering at Canzone Yoga.
